Love poems, Billie Eilish tickets, and all Donations Matched!

Greetings.

Hope you are doing well. It is no secret that we are living in very challenging times. At Street Books, we’ve been thinking about how to contain all the love we have, while acknowledging and feeling the despair. This fall, our Library Operations Coordinator, Josh, suggested we borrow a structure from the poet Pablo Neruda’s collection, Twenty Love Poems & a Song of Despair. This inspired us to collectively create a long list of library patrons, community partners, and even pets that we love and admire, and fashion this into our own version of “love poems.” This month, we'll be sharing some of these Love Poems and we hope they boost you like they do us!

LOVE POEM #1
